Q. What is the Mass Air Flow Sensor Unit?
A. Basically, it is used to find the mass of air entering a fuel injected engine. This information is sent to the Engine Control Unit which then is able to deliver the correct fuel mass to the engine.
Q. Where is it located on the Ford Aerostar?
A. It is to the right of the air filter compartment. It is bolted to the compartment with 4 bolts.
